A large part of my work is made up of taking head shots for the theatrical, music and acting industry.

Your actors head shot will be the single most deciding factor in whether or not you get the role or gig, no doubt whatsoever. I have a number of friends in the casting business and I asked them what the single most important thing an actor could do to get themselves at least called in.
Their unanimous reply was “Get a professional portfolio of head shots made up.”
It’s human nature to be judgemental and without realising it, most of us actually do judge a book by it’s cover. If the cover looks good, most people will think that the contents must be of the same quality. Even if they rarely are!
